Reviews
We stopped by for lunch I ordered the platanos con crema and my boyfriend ordered pork chops with tajadas, they confused his order with carne asada I didn't say anything since Im shy, he was disappointed but I wasn't the food was great.
I've only stopped in for quick lunch takeout and got tacos so far, but the tacos are so good I had to write this review! The meat is grilled so perfectly, crisped edges while staying tender inside, and they really pile it on to the lightly grilled tortillas. Simple and absolutely delicious. Take out service is friendly. Not extremely fast, but it's worth the wait! I can't wait to try more from the menu.
Great place! It's really an old style diner inside, clean and nice place. The food is really well done. ..we started with fried plantains with beans and cream. Then came the Crazy Papusa - WARNING - HUGE! Way bigger than any I've ever seen, as big around as a medium pizza but with way more food inside. We struggled to eat half even though it was really good. Everything was pretty outstanding, I will definitely be back.
Fantastic late night option to the usual diner food. Prices are great, food is superb, and service is friendly. They just opened and are 24 hours/day now. Not the worst part of town, nor the best--felt perfectly safe parking and walking on the street---just a little suspicious. We ordered the "Crazy Papusa"...really not sure what was in it--but what matters is that it was tasty and super filling. Nothing too exotic in this dish that would be objectionable to the inexperienced palate. I will definitely come again to try more dishes.
Underrated. Tasty, affordable, hearty El Salvadoran and Mexican food. We had creamy chicken and green plantains with steak. The baleadas and chorizo tacos were also great! Will definitely be back
